Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:
Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
